Please consider becoming a member of the WBNA or renewing your current membership.
Joining is easier than ever before now that we have Pay-Pal on our web site.
Membership in the WBNA has its privileges:
- Have your voice heard on the neighborhood needs that matter to you
- Be the first to learn about new developments, businesses, and issues impacting
you and the neighborhood
- Improve the quality of your living environment and help maintain/grow your
property values
- Get updates at our monthly meetings-held the 2nd Wednesday of the month at the 50 West Broadway's Community Room 7:00pm.
The WBNA enables local residents, businesses, and elected officials and city
officials to exchange ideas and promote the well-being and safety of the people
who live and work here. We are a non-profit organization established to represent
a unified voice representing the concerns of all of our residents.
In addition to membership dues, which go toward neighborhood beautification,
clean-ups, planting flowers and bushes, etc. another great way to get involved
with beautification efforts is our "Adopt-A-Planter" program. We currently
have 10 seasonal planters on the traffic island of the James Kelly Bridge and
Dorchester Avenue that we maintain throughout the year. Adopting a planter is
a great way to give to beautification efforts and advertise your business with
a plaque that reads, "Donated By: Your Business." The cost is only
$250 for the full year and covers year-round planting and maintenance.
