On January 18th 7pm at 50 W Broadway, there will be a brief Development meeting regarding the proposed 9 unit building at 41 West Second street with Architect Tim Johnson. He will update us on revised drawings and changes we requested at our October Meeting. They need to go before the Zoning Board before our February meeting and we said we accommodate them.
We look forward to seeing you February 8th as we resume our Winter/Spring WBNA meeting schedule - the second Wednesday of the month at 7pm. The meetings take place February through May in the Community Room at 50 West Broadway. |

Welcome to the West Broadway Neighborhood Association |
|
The West Broadway Neighborhood Association is a non-profit organization established to act as a unified voice representing the concerns of all its residents. We will keep residents informed of pertinent issues and events, resond to issues and concerns regarding our neighborhood and seek out ways to improve the overall quality of life in the area. We will accomplish this through inclusive membership representation, broad outreach programs and collaboration with government and other community groups.
Please consider becoming a member of the WBNA or renewing your current membership.
Membership dues go toward neighborhood clean-ups and garden supplies and maintenance.
Another great way to get involved with beautification efforts is our “Adopt-A-Garden Bed” program. We currently have several planted garden beds on The Jimmy Kelly Bridge, along Foundry Street train yard, and at the base of The W4th street Bridge @ Dorchester Avenue that we maintain. We are also embarking on a very exciting project, installing plants in our new 215 foot long series of garden beds on the Dorchester Ave. traffic island between W.Broadway and W 4th Streets. Adopting a garden is a great way to give to our beautification efforts and advertise your business with a plaque that reads, “Sponsored By: Your Business.” The cost is only $500 for the year and covers planting and maintenance.
