Welcome to the West Broadway Neighborhood Association |
|
The West Broadway Neighborhood Association is a non-profit organization established to act as a unified voice representing the concerns of all its residents. We will keep residents informed of pertinent issues and events, resond to issues and concerns regarding our neighborhood and seek out ways to improve the overall quality of life in the area. We will accomplish this through inclusive membership representation, broad outreach programs and collaboration with government and other community groups. |

Thanks to everyone that came out to help clean-up our West Broadway neighborhood. We had a terrific turnout which allowed us to cover a lot of ground. The group cleaned W Broadway to B St., Dorchester Ave between Foundry St and W 4th St, Foundry Street and the parks by the Broadway Bridge. Thanks also to Sophia's Cafe for providing delicious coffee and pastries, the City of Boston for sponsoring the event and supplying tools, trash bags, gloves and t shirts, and to the Cornerstone for providing volunteers with a well deserved beer after the clean-up. Overall, Boston Shines two day citywide clean-up was the most successful Boston Shines yet! 216 groups participated in 198 projects in every neighborhood of the city. 1,211 flowers and 257 trees were planted and over 11,000 bags of trash collected. The next WBNA clean-up will take place in July. |
